Welcome to Bowman Orchards! We invite you to enjoy nature's beauty on ninety-eight tree-filled acres. Over 46 varieties of apples being grown with new ones each year. Most are available for your family to enjoy picking. We also have strawberries, raspberries, pumpkins, pears, peaches, blackberries, and much more!

Apples

Depending on the time of the year (see our calendar), we may have any of the following varieties of apples available: Cortland, Empire, Fortune, Fuji, Gala, Ginger Gold, Golden Delicious, Golden Supreme, Granny Smith, Greening, Honeycrisp, Idared, Jerseymac, Jonagold, Jonamac, Macoun, McIntosh, Mutsu-Crispin, Northern Spy, Paulared, Pristine, Redcort, Red Delicious, Ruby Jon, Sansa, Shamrock, Spartamac, Spigold,  Suncrisp, Twenty Ounce, and Zestar.

Strawberries

Available the month of June both u-pick and pre-picked. We grow several varieties including Seascape, Sweet Charlie, Chandler, Honeyoye, Allstar, and Jewel. Strawberries are also available starting again in August through a hard frost usually sometime in October. Again they are both u-pick and pre-picked for the fall season.

Raspberries

Available starting around July 1st through a hard frost (we have added summer raspberries so they will be open right through Thanksgiving). Available both u-pick and pre-picked. We have both red and golden raspberries. You can choose between 5 varieties depending on the season. We grow Polana, Caroline, Heritage, Autumn Britten, and Encore. Look for Blackberries and Blueberries starting in 2006.

Peaches

We grow 15 Varieties of peaches mostly centered around late August through the end of September. Peaches are available u-pick or pre picked. Because of spring frost this year we have a smaller crop and will only have pre-picked peaches.

Blackberries

First planted in spring of 2005, we hope to have a few this season beginning in August. We grow what is claimed to be the largest blackberry in the world. We'll see how that claim turns out.

Pumpkins

We grow many varieties, shapes, colors and sizes of pumpkins. Pumpkins are available u-pick or pre-picked and usually we start them the third week of September. We also grow gourds, squash, and many types of ornamental fruits.

In our store, we also offer home baked pies, fresh apple cider, cider donuts (that don't sit like a rock in your belly), many types of breads and pastries, our own homemade ice cream now featuring Strawberry Shortcake, at least 12 flavors of our homemade fudge, and much more.
